- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped

Method
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and pork and cook until browned, stirring occasionally.
- Add the onion, bell pepper, and celery to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are softened.
- Add the garlic, paprika, thyme, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Add the rice to the skillet and stir to coat the rice in the spice mixture.
- Add the chicken broth to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet with a lid.
- Simmer the rice mixture for 20-25 minutes or until the rice is fully cooked and has absorbed all of the liquid.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the chopped green onions.
- Let the dirty rice rest for 5 minutes before serving.
