- 1 1/2 cups of uncooked white rice
- 3 cups of water
- 1 can of cream of celery soup
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese (optional)

Method
- In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

- In the same pan, add the rice, water, cream of celery soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, basil, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
