Method
- Wash the glutinous rice in a large mixing bowl until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.
- Drain the rice and add it to the rice cooker with 2 cups of water. Cook the rice according to the rice cooker's instructions.
- In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat.
- When the rice is done, transfer it to a large mixing bowl. Add the coconut milk mixture to the rice and stir until well combined.
- Cover the mixing bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and let it sit for 10-15 minutes to allow the rice to absorb the coconut milk.
