Description

Ingredient

  • 1 cup of white rum

Method

  1. In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, and evaporated milk over medium heat.

  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes until it thickens.
  5. Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool completely.

  7. Add the rum and blend for another 30 seconds.

Notes

This recipe makes about 6 cups of coquito. You can adjust the amount of rum according to your preference. If you don't like rum, you can also make a non-alcoholic version by omitting the rum.
