Method

1. In a mixing bowl, mix the glutinous rice flour and water until it forms a smooth dough. 2. In a separate bowl, mix the ground pork, Shiitake mushrooms, scallions, soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sesame oil, and cornstarch. 3. Divide the dough into small pieces and flatten them into circles. 4. Spoon the filling onto the center of each circle and fold the dough over to form a ball. 5. Place the rice cakes in a steamer and steam for 10-15 minutes or until cooked. 6. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and add a tablespoon of oil. 7. Fry the rice cakes until golden brown on each side. 8. Serve hot.
